*Main Street Theatre and Dance Alliance: “Robin Hood”

“The Monkey King: A Kung-fusical” (written by Jonathan & Kimbirdlee Fadner) is a theatrical retelling of an ancient Chinese legend infused with a clever storyline and heart-pumping music. The legend has entertained all ages for centuries with a cast of mythical creatures that can transform and transcend earthly realms and triumph amidst epic battles. 

*Main Street Theatre & Dance Alliance: “Witness for the Prosecution”

Leonard Vole stands accused of murdering a rich widow. The stakes are high with shocking witness testimony, impassioned outbursts from the dock and a young man’s fight to escape the hangman’s noose. Generally regarded as one of Christie’s most accomplished plays, this suspenseful thriller keeps audiences guessing until the very end.

*Main Street Theatre & Dance Alliance: “The Dining Room”

The play is a comedy of manners, set in a single dining room where 18 scenes from different households overlap and intertwine. The stories are about White Anglo-Saxon Protestant (WASP) families. It tells the story of the dying and relatively short-lived culture of upper-middle class Americans, and the transition into a much more efficient society with less emphasis on tradition and more emphasis on progress.

Set in the wildest decade ever, DISASTER! delivers earthquakes, tidal waves, infernos and unforgettable 70s hits like “Knock On Wood,” “Hooked On A Feeling,” “Sky High,” “I Am Woman” and “Hot Stuff.”

*Main Street Theatre & Dance Alliance: “Legally Blonde Jr.”

Legally Blonde JR. follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. When Elle's boyfriend, Warner, dumps her and heads to Harvard, claiming she's not "serious" enough, Elle takes matters into her own hands, charming her way into law school.

*Main Street Theatre & Dance Alliance: “The Prom”

The Prom is a musical with music by Matthew Sklar, lyrics by Chad Beguelin, and a book by Bob Martin and Beguelin, based on an original concept by Jack Viertel. The musical follows four Broadway actors lamenting their days of fame, as they travel to the conservative town of Edgewater, Indiana, to help a lesbian student banned from bringing her girlfriend to high school prom.

*Main Street Theatre & Dance Alliance: “The Crucible”

The Crucible is a 1953 play by American playwright Arthur Miller. It is a dramatized and partially fictionalized story of the Salem witch trials that took place in the Massachusetts Bay Colony during 1692–93. Miller wrote the play as an allegory for McCarthyism, when the United States government persecuted people accused of being communists. Miller was questioned by the House of Representatives' Committee on Un-American Activities in 1956 and convicted of contempt of Congress for refusing to identify others present at meetings he had attended.

When the four troublemakers are sent to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes, they have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?

A send-up of backstage murder mystery plots, set in 1959 Boston, Massachusetts, Curtains follows the fallout when Jessica Cranshaw, the supremely untalented star of Robbin' Hood of the Old West is murdered during her opening night curtain call. It is up to Lt. Frank Cioffi, a police detective who moonlights as a musical theater fan, to save the show, solve the case, and maybe even find love before the show reopens, without getting killed himself.

*NYU, New Studio on Broadway: “The Comedy of Errors”

Set in the Greek city of Ephesus, The Comedy of Errors tells the story of two sets of identical twins who were accidentally separated at birth. When the Syracusans encounter the friends and families of their twins, a series of wild mishaps based on mistaken identities lead to wrongful beatings, a near-seduction, the arrest of Antipholus of Ephesus, and false accusations of infidelity, theft, madness, and demonic possession.

*Main Street Theatre & Dance Alliance: “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time”

Set in Swindon and London, the story concerns a 15-year-old amateur detective named Christopher John Francis Boone who is a mathematical genius. The titular curious incident is the mystery surrounding the death of a neighbor's dog, Wellington, found speared by a sharp garden fork.

The play's concept calls for the entirety of the 1935 adventure film The 39 Steps. It concerns an everyman civilian in London, Richard Hannay, who becomes caught up in preventing an organization of spies called "The 39 Steps" from stealing British military secrets. After being mistakenly accused of the murder of a counter-espionage agent, Hannay goes on the run to Scotland and becomes tangled up with an attractive woman while hoping to stop the spy ring and clear his name.
